Studio manager / musician / engineer Adam Hargrave, who recently joined the team told us, ‘The Analogue Barn is probably one of the finest studios available with an established 45 years in recording. There is no substitute for experience and we have a lot of that here. Our engineers specialise in different musical styles and genres which means collectively we can undertake any task, thus allowing clients to be as creative as they like! Our location gives a superior alternative to the extra expense and space limitation of recording in London. All our equipment is aligned and calibrated to the highest standards by our leading team of electronic engineers. We also design and sell some of the most respected consoles and outboard so we understand what’s going on within the equipment we use, as well as what it can do for your music. John strongly endorses Celemony Melodyne pitch correction software, the finest and most flexible programme developed to date for tuning vocals. Even polyphonic sound sources can be tuned and we have a team of professional tuning engineers at our disposal who run the software at a truly astounding technical level, both during and post session.’

Past clients at The Analogue Barn include Oasis, Leo Sayer, PJ Proby, Terrell Guy, Jackie Trent, Cilla Black, Rick Wurzbacher and X-Factor finalist Ashley McKenzie. The studio is also set to feature a host of upcoming bands and artists keen to take advantage of The Analogue Barn’s online marketing service and record label.
